Self Defense Protection–Safe And Easy!
My friend from way back and I are leaving for Indianapolis to study at Butler University. I am a cautious person while she is reckless therefore I took charge of our self defense protection.
Apart from the warmth of Midwesterners, we were nurtured by our mothers and fathers who coached us on stun baton, Taser and pepper gun or simply the usefulness of personal security weapons. The reason may be I did not have siblings while Beth is the only rose among the thorns in their family.
During junior high, I already carried a lipstick pepper spray for self defense protection. A cell phone stun gun was Beth’s gift from her dad after graduation. At 13, we both purchased our first personal safety alarm with emergency flashlight.
Both of our houses had surveillance protection system consisting of wireless covert cameras, glass breakage, driveway, activity-triggered entry alarms. Beth has a pool alarm while we have no need for it since our house has no pool.
When I was little I remember having a computer activity tracking software and a child monitor alarm. My working parents gave merit to self defense protection when they got me a babysitter, and a hidden camera.
Because I insisted on having a door/window alarm, travel and burglar alarms and safety lights, a few weeks before leaving, we already have them. Finally, we are saying goodbye to our home’s safety and their personal safety gadgets.
We were going to buy running shoes, a few days earlier and I told Beth to see me at the car park. I have in my car some instructional fighting DVDs that I wanted her to see which we still need to learn for the final fortification of our self defense protection.
She surprised me, turning up with dog repellers and driver nap alarms for our road trip. That’s Beth. She would not have braved three brothers if she was not crafty like that.
